How different it looks....

We are moving to a new house next week, so are in the process of getting things organized. Today we took down the hooks for the bird feeders off the deck. WOW. I won't know what to do when I stand at the sink. There's nothing there to look at. Somehow that was just as big a moment for me as standing in the middle of boxes that are packed up. I hope we are able to set up feeders at the new house. We won't have a lot of trees or cover for the birds, so it will probably take some time to establish some "regulars" again.
